(12)Furniture assembly and yard work make up the two sides of what I do, and I've been doing both professionally for around five years. I started out helping neighbors put together flat-pack furniture on weekends, and it grew into a full handyman business covering both the inside and outside of people's homes.
Give me a box of furniture parts and an instruction sheet and I'll have it built, leveled, and in place before you know it. I've assembled everything from bookshelves and desks to wardrobes, cribs, and outdoor furniture sets, and I always check that hardware is properly tightened before finishing up.
On the yard side, I take care of mowing, hedge trimming, leaf clearing, and general tidying to keep outdoor spaces looking their best. I also handle small yard projects like assembling sheds, planter boxes, and patio furniture.
I like the mix of detail-focused indoor work and the more physical outdoor jobs, and it keeps every week a little different. Customers often book me for both at once, since a tidy yard and a fully assembled patio set tend to go hand in hand.
